The next stop on Richard's jam-packed itinerary took him the following weekend from England to the US, where he was a guest at Dragon Con in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The convention celebrated its 40th anniversary this year and is a huge event welcoming up to 75,000 attendees each day.

Once again Richard was joined by several Stargate costars including Michael Shanks, Teryl Rothery, Ben Browder and Claudia Black. Each day, he participated with his fellow SG-1 castmates in a Question & Answer panel, and he greeted fans for autograph sessions and photo ops.
