Halo3 Dublin 2007
September 23-26, 2007

Richard visited Ireland for the first time this week as part of the September 25th high-profile Irish release of Microsoft's new Xbox 360 game, Halo3. In anticipation of Richard's participation in the launch festivities in Dublin, Orla Sheridan of Microsoft Ireland said, "We are bringing Richard Dean Anderson to Ireland, which will be his first time in the country, for the launch, as the characters he has played such as MacGyver are heroes and pop culture phenomena like Master Chief. Both are ordinary individuals who, despite insurmountable odds, have stepped up to the challenge to come out of extraordinary situations. There is already huge excitement about his upcoming appearance." In addition to enjoying the sights of Dublin, Richard also participated in a number of public appearances, photo ops, and press interviews.
