NYA

Nya is the daughter of Turghan, chieftain of the Toughai on Simarka. Although betrothed to the desert warlord Chimakka, Nya was in love with Abu, son of the rival chieftain Moughal of the Shavadai. When she tried to flee with Abu, she was captured and sentenced by her father to be stoned to death. However, after Carter's defeat of Turghan in hand-to-hand combat, Nya and Abu were free to marry.
