WHITE ROCK RESEARCH STATION

The White Rock Research Station was established in Antarctica immediately after the discovery of the beta stargate. During its first year of operation, two Jaffa were found frozen in the ice. No significant discoveries were made for the next four years, and the program, which is reevaluated each year by the Pentagon, was in danger of being closed. Drs. Michaels, Osbourne, and Woods were stationed at the base when they made the incredible discovery of a young woman frozen in the ice for millions of years, whom they were able to revive, and whom they named Ayiana.
