HARSESIS

A Harsesis is the human child of two Goa'uld hosts. He would contain all the knowledge of the Goa'uld because the genetic memory in the Goa'uld DNA is passed on to the human offspring. Such a child is forbidden, punishable by death, and hunted down and destroyed by the Goa'uld with great impunity. Nevertheless, Apophis had fathered a human son by his mate Amaunet, the symbiote within Sha're, intending the child to be his new host. The child was born on Abydos, delivered by Daniel, and left in the care of Kasuf to be raised in hiding. To protect the child from Heru'ur and the System Lords, Amaunet stole him back from Kasuf and sent him with her closest aide into hiding on Kheb. There the baby was found by SG-1 in the care of Oma Desala, one of the Others, a powerful non-corporeal alien who convinced Daniel that the child was safest with her. Oma Desala spirited the infant through the stargate to the safety of an unknown location. The child aged at an artificially accelerated rate, and took the name Shifu, learning from Oma Desala how to bury the evil in his subconscious.
