JOMA SECU

The rite of Joma Secu is a ritual challenge of leadership to determine the victor's worthiness and his right to lead. The challenge involves hand-to-hand combat to the death. Teal'c claimed Joma Secu against K'tano and defeated him as a leader among the Rebel Jaffa. Neith also claimed Joma Secu against Ishta and challenged her for leadership of the Hak'tyl, however she withdrew her challenge and the two were reunited when they learned of Mala's death.
