NYAN

Nyan, a scientist with the Research Academy of Bedrosia on P2X-416, uncovered the Bedrosian stargate which had been encased in rock for thousands of years. Although he followed the Bedrosian belief that life originated and evolved on Bedrosia, he accepted the stargate as evidence of the Optrican belief in an alien gateway. He aided Teal'c after he was blinded by an alien weapon, and he helped SG-1 escape when they were captured by the Bedrosians as spies. He returned to Earth with SG-1, intending to obtain refugee status to remain as Daniel's research assistant.
