TA'SEEM

Ta'seem is a Tok'ra, experienced in the removal of a symbiote from a host. When Ba'al took Adria as a host, SG-1 hoped to remove the symbiote and replace it instead with a more cooperative Tok'ra symbiote. Ta'seem arrived to perform the delicate surgery to replace Ba'al with Zanuf, a Tok'ra. Although the extraction process has been refined considerably, it is still an extremely risky procedure, especially to the host. Before Ta'seem could complete the removal of Ba'al, the symbiote released deadly toxins that would kill the host, and the surgery failed. Ba'al's symbiote was dead, and Adria, faced with her own death, prepared herself to ascend.
