ROBERT THORNBIRD

Major Robert Thornbird had been stationed at the Cheyenne Mountain facility in 1969 when it served as a top secret missile silo. When SG-1 was apprehended at the base after traveling back in time, Thornbird was charged with interrogating O'Neill as a Soviet spy. He did not appreciate O'Neill's assertion that he was either Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise, or Luke Skywalker, and he ordered that the team be transported to another facility for further questioning.
