TRIAD

The triad is an ancient Tollan ceremony of justice, similar to a trial, in which two "seekers," or defendants, select "archons," similar to attorneys, to represent them in presenting arguments until a decision is reached by a neutral third archon. The Tollans held a triad to determine if Skaara or Klorel should have the right to the host body. During the procedure, O'Neill and Daniel acted as joint archons for Skaara, Zipacna represented Klorel, and Lya, as the third neutral archon, cast the deciding vote in favor of Skaara.
