RADEK ZELENKA

Dr. Radek Zelenka is a member of the original international expedition to Atlantis under Dr. Elizabeth Weir. As a physicist, he often works closely with Dr. Rodney McKay, and he can frequently be found in the operations center of Atlantis, monitoring that region of space and the many control systems of the city. During SG-1's joint mission to Atlantis to establish a wormhole from a black hole in the Pegasus Galaxy to the supergate in the Milky Way, Zelenka noticed on Atlantis's long-range sensors that a Wraith hive ship was approaching Odyssey's position. Because Odyssey's own sensors and communications would be affected by the gravity of the black hole, Zelenka alerted Weir to the danger so that a warning could be transmitted to the Odyssey via the SGC and the Gamma Site.
