On October 16th, the University of Southern California School of Medicine hosted the 10th anniversary of its Annual Quench the Fire 5K/10K Run & Walk at Woodley Avenue Park in Van Nuys, California. The proceeds from the event benefited the USC Pain Center at the Keck School of Medicine at USC in its goal to support education, research, and treatment of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) and other neuropathic chronic pain diseases. As he has done each year since the Run began, Richard signaled the start of the race, mingled with the fans who attended, posed for pictures, and signed autographs.
