2ND ANNUAL STUNTMAN AWARDS
March 22, 1986

Richard attended the 2nd Annual Stuntman Awards in Los Angeles where he presented two awards to the stunt team from MacGyver for excellence in stunt work. The first honoree for best high work in television went to the parachute jump from the cliff in the pilot episode, and the second honoree for best specialty stunt for television went to the Pegasus gambit from the Thief of Budapest episode.

Although not part of the awards show, this video also includes clips from a television special, "The World's Greatest Stunts: A Tribute to Hollywood Stuntmen" which aired in 1988. The special featured the work of Norman Howell, who had performed the Pegasus gambit, and it also included footage of the stunt from The Heist in which the red sports car parachutes out of an airplane.
