He listed the various surgeries he has had during his six years on MacGyver, and he promoted tonight's action-adventure episode, Eye of Osiris. The series has had more topical episodes in recent years, but they have been cautious about addressing the current situation with the Gulf War. He remarked on the unusually mild weather for early February in New York, and he debunked a tabloid story about using his MacGyver skills to repair a ski lift. Finally, listeners called in to the studio and Richard responded to questions about MacGyver's first name, why he left General Hospital, preparation for stunts, his love of hockey, dubbing in foreign markets, and requests to say hello.
