Richard spoke with Regis and Kathie Lee in New York to promote his television movie, Through the Eyes of a Killer. He had been doing a lot of traveling since MacGyver ended, and he relished the opportunity to take on a new, darker role in sharp contrast to his MacGyver image. He shared a clip from the movie and talked about getting in physical shape for the role.
