Richard visited with Martin Short as Apryl and Wylie watched from the wings. He talked about turning 50 and how he celebrated his milestone birthday. He and Martin compared notes about injuries and aging as he talked about his love of certain extreme sports and how fatherhood has changed his perspective. Reflecting on his early life, he also recalled his encounter with bears during the bike trip he took as a teenager, and he described his early stint as a mime as he and Martin performed some mime routines together.
