CONSTANTINE

Constantine was a Greek border guard. He had once encountered Penny Parker, an American dancer, and like so many men who made her acquaintance, he had been smitten. Later, Penny had traveled to Bulgaria and had begun a relationship with Stepan Frolov, but as the relationship ended, she found herself being drawn into a world of espionage. She had kept the jewelry that Stepan had given to her, not realizing that it had been stolen and tied to high-level corruption in the government, and she met MacGyver, who had acquired microfilm that contained proof of the theft. With their belongings and passports confiscated, and with the secret police in pursuit, MacGyver and Penny made their way toward the Greek border. There they were met by Constantine, who asked to see their passports. However, when Constantine and Penny recognized each other, they embraced in a joyful reunion, and the missing passports were no longer a concern.
