NEW MEXICO

The KIVA Laboratories, one of the Sendrex Corporations, was an underground facility located in Bannon, New Mexico. When Dr. Carl Steubens attempted to prevent his work from being used as a doomsday weapon by planting explosives to destroy the facility, the explosion trapped at least 20 people below ground and ruptured a tank of sulfuric acid which threatened to poison the water supply for the southwest. MacGyver was called to the facility in a last chance attempt to stop the acid leak and rescue the survivors.
