RON

Ron and Amy were teenaged friends of Lisa Allen in San Pedro. They were aware of her status as a runaway and felt protective toward her. As Lisa was walking with Amy and Ron and relating the story of how she had caught a fish earlier that morning, she recognized MacGyver as the man who had helped her by making a fishing lure from a gum wrapper. However, MacGyver had been poisoned by Kurt Neilson, an East German Intelligence agent, and he appeared drunk and disoriented as he stumbled down the street after evading his captors. Ron and Amy urged Lisa not to get involved, but Lisa insisted on helping MacGyver in return for his earlier kindness. Later, as Neilson's men searched the area to recapture MacGyver, Amy and Ron answered their questions when they were reassured that no trouble would come to Lisa, and they shared information that helped lead the agents to the building where Lisa lived.
