Chaapa'ai

Chaapa'ai is the name used to refer to the stargate in the language of the ancient Egyptians. As an early name for the stargate derived from the Goa'uld language, it has been used by many cultures, including the Abydonians, the Jaffa, the Tok'ra, the Sodan, and inhabitants of planets once conquered by the Goa'uld such as P4S-237, Juna, and Tagrea.
