MAJOR GIBSON

Major Gibson of the Air Force acted as a liaison from the Pentagon. She brought word to Landry that after reviewing the budget proposals for the Stargate Program, the International Oversight Advisory had decided that the SGC served little more than a support role to the Atlantis mission, behind which they intended to throw their full financial backing. She also delivered General O'Neill's advice that he would go to bat for the SGC with the President, and that Landry should take his case directly to the Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
