DR. REDDEN

Dr. Redden had been heading up the xenology unit at Area 51 for several years. Because of her expertise, she was called to the SGC to examine the carcass of a monstrous creature that was killed on P9J-333 and brought back to Earth for study. Dr. Redden determined that a leech-like parasitic creature that had crossed into our phase from an alternate dimension had taken a docile, indigenous herbivore as a host, altering its DNA and causing rapid and extensive mutations that changed the gentle mammal into an enormous predatory carnivore.
