The mountain climbing footage in the MacGyver episode "Eagles" was borrowed from Mike Hoover's 1972 short film called "Solo." Maurice Villency, an east coast chain of furniture stores, also used footage from the same short film to advertise "furniture you won't find everywhere else," causing MacGyver fans to do a double-take. This video begins with scenes from "Eagles" for comparison, and then includes two versions of the Maurice Villency furniture commercials.
