Star! Inside visited the set of Stargate SG-1 where producers, directors, and the cast talked about the appeal of science fiction, the character development and humor that make Stargate unique, Richard's role as a patriarch and role model on the set, and personal favorite episodes. The cast voiced their appreciation for the passion and support of the fans, including a glimpse of the Gatecon 2002 convention in Vancouver, and Amanda Tapping also led a tour through the sound stages of the studio.
