BROWNSTONE HOTEL

The Brownstone Hotel was a rather sleazy establishment in an undesirable section of Los Angeles. Michael Simmons had used it as a rendezvous point during his scheme to swindle East German agents out of three quarters of a million dollars. MacGyver followed Simmons' girlfriend, Linda, to the hotel where she was meant to pick up Simmons as they prepared to skip the country on a flight to Rio. However, by rewiring Linda's car phone, MacGyver was able to disable her car, to take Simmons into custody in front of the hotel, and to send Linda on her way.
