JOLINAR

Jolinar of Malkshur was the Tok'ra symbiote within the host body of Rosha, and she was the mate of Martouf/Lantash for nearly 100 years. A very influential Tok'ra, Jolinar once tried to overthrow a Goa'uld System Lord, but was defeated when Apophis joined the battle, and managed to escape during the slaughter of the armies. She was captured by Sokar and imprisoned on Netu where she was brutally tortured, but she seduced and betrayed Bynarr, the Lord of Netu, in order to make her escape from the prison moon, the only person ever known to have done so. As a fugitive from the System Lords, Jolinar fled to Nasya when Cronus sent the Ashrak to assassinate her. There she took a male host, then hid by leaving the dying man and entering Carter. Found by the Ashrak on Earth, she was tortured by the harakash, and gave her life to save Carter, who still retains some of her memories, knowledge, and abilities. It was Jolinar's memories in Carter that led SG-1 to first encounter the Tok'ra on P34-353J.
