DR. OSBOURNE

Dr. Osbourne, while stationed at the White Rock Research Station in Antarctica, was one of the scientists who discovered a young woman, later named Ayiana, who had been frozen for millions of years in the ice near the location of the beta stargate, but who miraculously returned to life. Dr. Osbourne contracted the mysterious virus for which Ayiana was a carrier, and he was lost in a blizzard away from the base. He was very ill when he barely made it back to the base, but he made a full recovery when Ayiana was able to cure him by a laying on of hands.
