BASHAAK

Bashaak is the intense and disciplined training through which a young Jaffa becomes a warrior. A Bashaak staff is a training weapon, a stick similar in shape to a staff weapon which is used in the instruction of hand-to-hand combat. Teal'c, Fro'tak, and Va'lar were among the young Jaffa who entered the Bashaak training under Master Bra'tac. Bashaak training is related to Jomo Se Telek, the unique fighting style of the Sodan warriors.
