HALSTROM

Halstrom, an inhabitant of the village of Ver Isca in the Ori galaxy, had run afoul of Seevis, the village administrator. Although Seevis claimed to be the most pious man in the village, he was also the barkeeper who was not above making a profit from the sins of his customers. When Denya, one of the ladies of the bar, caught Halstrom's eye, Seevis threatened that Halstrom would wish he were being burned alive by the fires of Celestis, until Halstrom swore he would pay for the service.
