INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

Following the battle in which Anubis's fleet was destroyed over Antarctica, space debris in orbit threatened the International Space Station. Cooperating with a Russian team aboard the space station, the SGC helped to adjust the station's orbit to avoid the debris. Contact was lost for 30 seconds without explanation, but during that time, the entity of Anubis, which had survived the destruction of his fleet by inhabiting the space debris, entered the International Space Station and took a host in the body of cosmonaut Anatole Konstantinov.
