As Teal'c lay dying, having survived the Ambush of Kresh'taa, he slipped in and out of consciousness, envisioning himself in conflicting realities as both a member of SG-1 and as a human firefighter on Earth. As he imagined himself confronting Apophis in a hospital ward, his agitated reaction drew the attention of a nurse who inquired if he was all right.
