For three days, Teal'c lay dying, having survived the Ambush of Kresh'taa, keeping both himself and Bra'tac alive by sharing a single symbiote. During that time he slipped in and out of consciousness, imagining himself as a human living on Earth. In that dream, he saw himself as "T," a firefighter and member of the Coquitlam Fire and Rescue Department serving with Chief O'Neill, Captain Carter, and Probie. When his stepfather Brae required a kidney transplant, T donated his own kidney, and he sought advice from Dr. Daniel Jackson, resident psychologist, during the crisis.
