ORI FIGHTER

Ori warships carry squadrons of smaller fighter craft. Long and slender in shape, with wing-like extensions that flare out at the rear, the smaller craft are able to exit the warship in space. Fighters are highly maneuverable in battle, they are capable of high rates of speed, and are also able to hover. They are equipped with weapons and shield capabilities, and they proved to be a daunting adversary for both alkesh and death glider ships in the battle over Chulak. Fighters have also been used for planetary surveillance. When Ori ground forces are required, a ring transporter platform can be clamped to the underside of a fighter craft and deposited on a planet's surface, allowing Ori warriors to ring down to the planet from the warship in orbit.
