PELOPS

The Greek god Pelops, a Mycenaean herald, fought from a winged chariot hurling lightning bolts. The Goa'uld Pelops, "The Creator," "The Giver of Days" brought the ancestors of the Chosen to Argos. He had once lived among them, but has since abandoned the planet. As part of an experiment in human physiology and evolution, he had created an artificial nano-virus that accelerated and shortened the human lifespan to approximately one hundred days.
