UNTOUCHED

The inhabitants of the Land of Light referred to themselves as the Untouched. They have no histamine in their bodies, which gave them a natural immunity to a histaminolytic virus which had infected some of the population, causing physical and behavioral changes resembling primitive man. The Untouched, led by High Councilor Tuplo, inhabit the light side of the planet and emulate a Bronze Age Minoan culture. When SG-1 provided a cure for the disease, the distinction between Touched and Untouched was eliminated.
