PJ2-445

PJ2-445 is a forested planet with grassy plains. It is inhabited by peaceful and innocent humanoid beings who live in small villages of simple huts, and by a network of plants which can grow and bloom and retract again into the ground. In a truly symbiotic relationship, the humanoid beings depend on an inaudible sound produced by the plants in order to live, and the plants respond to the unique trilling song of the humanoids. When injured by the UAV, the plants produced a sound of altered pitch which resulted in serious illness and death among the native beings. SG-1 left behind solar powered frequency emitters to maintain the necessary balance of sound until the plants were able to recover.
