RAYMOND GUNNE

Raymond Gunne was one of the stars of "Wormhole X-treme!", a cable television series developed by Martin Lloyd and based on Stargate Command and SG-1. Gunne played Dr. Levant, a role based on the character of Daniel Jackson, portrayed by the actor Michael Shanks, originally portrayed by the actor James Spader in the feature film. The series eventually lasted for ten years, and Gunne left the show briefly during its run, but a fan campaign that included an ad in Variety and the savedrlevant.com website, which got dozens of hits a month, probably went a long way toward convincing the producers to take, or have, or invite him back.
