MALEK

Malek had been the commander of the Tok'ra base in the Risa System until the base came under attack from Anubis, and he and the surviving Tok'ra evacuated to the Alpha Site. While based at the Alpha Site, Malek and Jacob Carter took the leadership role among the Tok'ra. Malek witnessed Bra'tac's apparent death at the hands of the Ashrak, and with his scientific knowledge he cooperated with Carter to counteract the personal cloaking device of the assassin in order to defeat the Ashrak on the base.

Malek and Kelmaa were later summoned to Pangar where he discovered that the symbiote queen being bred in captivity was Egeria, founder of the Tok'ra movement, and he demanded her release. With her help, he was able to develop the antidote for tretonin that the Pangarans sought.
